Scott Potter

CEO

Scott Potter is the CEO of RIM Alliance, where he leads the company’s strategic vision and oversees day-to-day operations. In 2024 he acquired Alliance Air Parts and played a key role in its successful merger with RIM Enterprises in 2025. Looking ahead, Scott is focused on building strong industry relationships and upholding RIM Alliance’s mission: delivering dependable parts, ready for flight.

With more than 14 years of executive leadership experience, Scott has held C-level roles across middle-market companies in the healthcare, life sciences, and business services sectors. His leadership track record includes helping businesses triple EBITDA in under three years, steering companies through complex financial situations, and leading teams that have successfully exited to firms such as Berkshire Hathaway.

Scott began his career as a Certified Public Accountant with KPMG and Grant Thornton, advising fast-growing, acquisition-driven clients. He holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a bachelor’s degree from Oklahoma State University.

Beyond his professional pursuits, Scott serves as Treasurer of the Oklahoma Contemporary Arts Center. He enjoys flying and is an enthusiastic traveler and urban explorer alongside his wife, Jenn. They have three daughters and live in a century home, all of which are worth the trouble…usually!

Paul Copping

Senior Vice President of Sales

Paul Copping is the Senior Vice President of Sales at RIM Alliance, where he oversees all sales activities across the organization. With nearly four decades of experience in the aircraft parts industry, he brings deep expertise in business development, customer relationship management and strategic growth. Paul is focused on strengthening longstanding customer relationships and driving new opportunities for growth as RIM Enterprises and Alliance Air Parts move forward together.

With 39 years in the industry, Paul’s career includes three decades at RIM Enterprises, where he served as President for 15 years. During his tenure, he helped the company grow into a respected name in aircraft parts trading sector. Earlier in his career, Paul held sales and management roles at Intertrade Ltd., where he first entered the industry.

Beyond his professional career, Paul has taken several trips to Guatemala to support the Organization for the Development of the Indigenous Maya (ODIM). RIM Alliance is proud to have become ODIM’s first official business ambassador. Paul attended the University of Iowa.
